Our
Story
Our Story
Flower Gallery was founded in 1998 with a singular purpose: to serve the growing international community of collectors drawn to the distinctive art and furniture traditions of Japan, the Americas, and Spain. What began as a boutique advisory practice has grown into a full-service gallery and appraisal firm with clients on four continents.
The name "Flower" is a deliberate reference to ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement — an art form where restraint, asymmetry, and an acute sensitivity to natural form combine to create something that transcends its components. These are the qualities we seek in every object we handle.
Our Specialists
Our team includes specialists in Japanese decorative arts, American furniture of the Federal and Victorian periods, Spanish and Latin American Baroque art, and horological instruments. We work with an extended network of independent scholars, conservators, and legal experts across twelve countries.
Our Clients
Our clients include private collectors, corporate art programs, historical societies, and museum acquisition committees. We maintain strict confidentiality and never disclose client information without explicit permission.
